Back 2 The Track In Texas

After an off-weekend, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series action resumes Saturday as night racing returns to Texas Motor Speedway. Brad Keselowski enters the weekend currently 4th in the NSCS point standings trailing leader Kevin Harvick by 57.

March was a very successful month for the Team Penske veteran, who recorded five straight Top-10 finishes including two Top-5’s and a victory at Auto Club Speedway. With the win Keselowski virtually secured a spot in the 2015 Chase where he will compete for a coveted second NASCAR Championship. He discussed his approach moving forward:
“…I think that puts you in a great spot mentally to focus on the task at hand, which is still going out there and try to win each and every week, even though you are locked in the Chase. But I think it eliminates a lot of outside distractions and allows you to put your most aggressive foot forward.”
Heading into the seventh race this year, the 2Crew has a big challenge to face in Texas where Keselowski will run double-duty - driving in both the XFINITY Series and Sprint Cup Series races. In thirteen career NSCS starts at the 1.5-mile oval, the 2012 NASCAR Champion has an average start of 21.7, an average finish of 18.2, while leading a total of 246 laps. Keselowski has never won a Sprint Cup Series race at Texas Motor Speedway and, despite two front row starts in November 2013 and April 2014, his best finish was a 2nd place performance in November 2012.
On Saturday night can Keselowski shine under the bright lights and extend his Top-10 streak to six straight races?
